Welcome to Indian Paradise, a modern Indian restaurant located at 809 US-90 in Bay St. Louis, MS. With its clean ambiance and welcoming atmosphere, Indian Paradise quickly establishes itself as a go-to destination for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. As a food reviewer for Menustic, I am excited to share my thoughts on this promising establishment.
Indian Paradise offers a unique dining experience that caters to both Indian food aficionados and newcomers. The owners have ingeniously introduced a buffet in the early days, allowing patrons to sample a variety of dishes without feeling overwhelmed by the extensive menu. This initiative has garnered rave reviews from customers like Brice Pangan, who found the food “amazing” and praised the staff's warmth. His enthusiasm was clear when he expressed his eagerness to try the full menu after savoring the buffet.
The full menu is equally compelling, showcasing a rich array of flavors that Indian cuisine is celebrated for. Guests can customize the spice level of their curries, a feature that many have appreciated. Brice noted his fondness for spicy dishes, particularly the popular Chicken 65 appetizer, which offers a perfect blend of heat and flavor. Indeed, this freedom to adjust spice levels accommodates various palates, ensuring everyone can find their ideal dish.
Customer feedback indicates that the quality of food is a strong point for Indian Paradise. Toni-Marie LaFollette, despite having high standards, remarked that this restaurant outshines other local options in flavor, although she found portion sizes modest relative to their prices. Nevertheless, she acknowledged the welcoming nature of the staff and recognized this as a valuable addition to the local culinary scene.
For those who prefer take-out, Phu Nguyen emphasized stellar service and the consistent quality of the food. Although waiting times can vary, the anticipation is well worth it, especially when indulging in your favorite Indian dishes. Following their social media for updates on specials could enhance your dining experience even more.
The buzz around Indian Paradise is further solidified by customers like Ben Vici, who praised their clean environment and carefully crafted dishes. Highlights from their menu, such as honey cauliflower and paneer saag, received particular acclaim. The honey cauliflower, with its delightful cilantro-mint sauce, was compared favorably to orange chicken—a testament to the restaurant's delicious fusion of flavors.
Overall, Indian Paradise is a culinary gem that brings the rich flavors of Indian cuisine to the heart of Bay St. Louis. With an inviting atmosphere, a diverse menu, and a commitment to quality, it is no wonder patrons are eager to return. The combination of friendly service, flavorful dishes, and an inclusive dining experience positions Indian Paradise as the new favorite for both locals and visitors. I, too, look forward to my next visit—after all, who can resist the intoxicating aroma of spices and the promise of delightful dishes?

The owners decided to open for a few days with a buffet so people can try a bit of everything and not be so intimidated by the menu. I find that very smart. The food is amazing. I went for lunch during the buffet and tried and loved everything. The place is very clean. The staff are very friendly. I can't wait to try their full menu. I think I've found my new favorite spot. 10/10 Update: I've tried most of their full menu and it is all amazing. Everything is very flavorful and being able to choose your curry spice level is pretty nice. I always get my curry hot. It will make you sweat but it's delicious. The Chicken 65 is one of my favorite appetizers.

I will start by saying that I have a lot of experience with good, authentic Indian food. I will happily say that the food that I ate from here was the best of any local Indian food restaurant I have tried, so far. The food was a bit lacking in spices, as I have found in other local Indian restaurants. (I realize that many may disagree, but this is based on my own personal experiences.) Was it the best Indian food that I have ever eaten? No. However, it is probably the best that I will ever find in this general area, and it was acceptable. I gave four stars instead of five, because the portions were a bit small, based on the entree prices charged. The plastic container in the photo is what you receive for a dinner portion of chicken tikka masala. The naan that I tried (two varieties) was okay, but also a bit smaller portion than what is served in most Indian restaurants that I have been to. The owner and staff were very nice, and welcoming. Overall, a nice addition to the area, and we will continue to give them our business.

My husband and I order take out often and it’s always delicious!! Great service and quality! Sometimes the food can take a while, but I don’t mind because I know it’s going to be delicious. The owners and employees are always very kind. If you follow there page on facebook you can keep up with specials they have, so worth it! Indian food is my favorite cuisine, I’m so glad they have opened cause I’ve been having to travel to Baton Rouge for good Indian food before this place opened up.

One word: delicious! We drove in from out of town to try this establishment. We like to eat and make Indian food often, so we were excited to find that there was a new place to try. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed it was clean and nicely decorated. We were greeted and sat promptly. There was a buffet; however, we opted to order several dishes and share. The owner recommended the honey cauliflower. It reminded me of orange chicken. It was very good and came with a cilantro-mint sauce that was excellent. We ordered Chana masala, paneer saag, veggie korma, and madras curry. We also ordered naan and papadm. I haven’t had papadm in many years, and I was thrilled that it arrived tasting as good as I remember. All of the dishes were enjoyed. We had a bit to take home too. The saag was some of the best I’ve ever had. The paneer was slightly browned, which added a nice texture and flavor. The restaurant was moderately crowded; it was encouraging to see people supporting a local business. We had a great experience and intend to return.

Food (Sanskrit— bhojana,“that which is to be enjoyed,” Hindi— khana, Tamil— shapad) First of all, I have to say how excited I am to have an Indian restaurant in Bay Saint Louis. This is such a courageous move for the owners - to introduce a very deep international food culture into another. They should be applauded and supported. I normally write a a good, bad and ugly type review but today I can only write a good, better, amazing! The good...atmosphere is in the early stages. The building has come a long way from the dark and dingy days of The Third Base. Good riddance to that eyesore! I have no doubt that it will improve with time. I for one look forward to the growth and evolution of the space. For now, Indian Paradise is bright, sunny and lively. Rachel and the rest of the wait staff are warm and welcoming and made me feel at home. The better...simply put FOOD IS AMAZING! We enjoyed standard dishes you will find in most Indian restaurants like Chana Massala and Chicken Tikka Massala but also enjoyed an amazing fish curry and honey cauliflower. For the next few days the menu will rotate so I'm sure there are more delights coming. I cannot wait to try all of them. The AMAZING...so many things are amazing about this place but one thing truly blew me away...the hot chai tea. Even on this warm day it was a warm, soothing, homemade hug from far away. I hope everyone can appreciate that the food cultures of India and South Louisiana/Mississippi are much more alike than different. Dig into the recipes and you'll find tons of similarities. Don't be afraid. Please, do yourself a favor, come to Indian Paradise. Welcome Rachel, Amit and the team into our amazing and unique town. It can only make us more unique and amazing! Who knows, maybe we can even have a Diwali celebration this fall! File next to: variety is the spice of life!
